Dashboard

Overview

The Dashboard module in Kasturi HRMS provides managers with a centralized view of all important company updates and employee engagement highlights. It is the first screen you see upon logging in and serves as your command center for key insights and quick actions.

Purpose

The Manager Dashboard helps you stay informed and connected with your team and the organization by displaying:

Company Announcements – Important updates such as HR policies, internal changes, recognitions, etc. Employee Recognitions – Highlights like Employee of the Month, appreciation awards, or team accomplishments. Upcoming Events – Information about company events such as festivals, celebrations, wellness drives, or offsites. Offers & Promotions – Exclusive company offers or benefits rolled out for employees.

Note: All of this is dynamically displayed in the top section of your dashboard as a rotating banner.

Key Features

Announcements & Recognition: Celebrate and stay informed with our dynamic announcement section. Each card includes: Employee name and photo Award type or announcement title Relevant department or event theme Download option to save posters or flyers

Upcoming Holidays & Birthdays: Stay prepared and never miss a special date! The section also highlights upcoming holidays and employee birthdays to keep everyone in the loop.

Rotating View: Easily browse through multiple announcements using the left and right arrows for a smooth viewing experience.

Real-Time Updates: All announcements are managed and updated in real time by the HR team, ensuring you always have the latest information.

Pending for Approval

The Pending for Approval section is a critical part of the Manager Dashboard. It highlights any items that require your immediate attention and action as a manager.

What It Displays:

This section lists on manager's level tasks that are waiting for your approval, including:

Timesheets – Submitted work hours by employees that need your validation.

KRAs (Key Result Areas) – Goals or performance entries submitted by team members awaiting your review or approval.

Leave Requests – Any new or updated leave applications pending your decision.

Other Requests – Depending on your organization’s workflow, this may also include General claim, Travel Request. 

Functionality: Each item shows a count of pending requests. Clicking on the item (e.g., "Timesheet: 112") redirects you to the respective module for direct action. This count updates in real-time based on employee submissions.

Manager’s Responsibility:

Review the listed pending items daily or weekly to avoid workflow delays.

Approve, reject, or request changes as per internal HR guidelines.

Tips: This helps ensure that managerial duties are completed on time, contributing to overall team efficiency.
